If a business customer of ours with which you are associated (a “customer”) signs up to use our Services, we may receive Personal Information about you in connection with our provision of our Services to the customer. To the extent that we process that Personal Information solely in order to provide our Services to the customer, under the General Data Protection Act (the “GDPR”) to the extent applicable, we will acts as a processor on behalf of the customer in respect to that Personal Information; this Privacy Policy will not apply to the processing of that Personal Information and the customer will act as a controller in respect of that Personal Information and is responsible for obtaining all necessary consents and providing you with all requisite information as required by applicable law. To the extent we process your Personal Information for any other lawful business purpose of ours, under GDPR, to the extent applicable, we will act as a controller of such Personal Information and this Privacy Policy will apply to the processing of such Personal Information. For clarification, our customers use the Service to help organize their own data related to production projects. We do not control the content or type of content that our customers may choose to use with the Service, except as set forth in our license agreement with that customer. The information use with our Service and provided by a customer belongs to the customer and is used, disclosed and protected by them according to their privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy. We process information provided by our customers as directed by each customer, and in accordance with our agreement with the particular customer. We store Information on the servers of our service providers, but we do not control management of the data by our customers. If you use our Services, we will not use your Production Company/Customer Data except as set forth in our licensing agreement with you.


We use Information we collect to help our Services create a better experience for you. Collecting Information about how you use Services helps us provide you with better service, including understanding which features are the most interesting to you, so that we are able to improve them.

We use your Information to create your account, to respond to your questions or requests concerning the Website or the Services offered by Croogloo, to provide you Services you have ordered, to communicate with you about Service you have purchased, to improve and support our Website and Services, to market our Services and offer you additional Services, to bill you, to fulfill the terms of any agreement you have with us, to fulfill your requests for our Services or otherwise complete a transaction that you initiate, to send you information about our Services, to improve your user experience and the quality of our products and services. How long do we keep your information?

How long we keep Information depends on the type of Information:

  • We retain Personal Information where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. We will stop using the Personal Information when we no longer have a legitimate business need to do so. If you request that we remove your Personal Information at an earlier date in accordance with this Privacy Policy we will do so provided we do not have a separate legal obligation to keep it.
  • If you have consented to receiving marketing communications from us, we will retain your Personal Information for a reasonable period of time from the date you last provided consent, unless you request that we remove it.

Third-party payment processor – Stripe

We use a third-party payment processor to process credit card payments made to us. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any Personal Information or financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, all such information is provided to our third-party processor.

If you use a credit card to pay for Services on our Website, the credit card payment processing services are provided by Stripe Inc. (“Stripe”) and are subject to Stripe Terms of Service and the Stripe Privacy Policy located here By using the credit card processing services, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. Croogloo has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles with respect to such data. Croogloo’s accountability for personal data that it receives in the United States under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third-party described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Croogloo remains liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if the third-party agents that it retains to process transfer data on Croogloo’s behalf process such personal data in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Shield Principles, unless Croogloo can prove that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
